To grow means many things to us – to prosper, evolve, develop.  Most of us have worked for builders and developers across the nation, often with great frustration in the “traditional” approach to development and community design.  We have long sought an environment that cherishes a synergistic relationship with nature, a business environment built on trust and reward for hard work, compassion for staff and customers alike, and the desire to do things right.  To grow then applies to all of us: staff, vendors, consultants, and our customers – to everyone with whom we communicate and work with.  To grow means for all of us to share in the successes and strengths of a business, to regularly challenge ourselves and our network to try harder, to seek a higher value in all that we do – to grow with the business, the community, the cities in which we operate – to grow in our professional and personal development and to share that growth with our families.

It is our mission to develop sustainable communities so that we all grow – our staff, our business,  our investors, the communities to which we enter, and the families that reside in our homes.  It is our goal to create living homes and living communities – where the built environment compliments the natural environment and replenishes the earth and communities around us with resources and amenities.  It is our job to balance the demands of profit with a sustainable future – a future for business, society, government and the environment – a future in which we all grow.  Because the world we live in and the communities we build should deliver to our children’s children a legacy and history built on sustainability and responsibility, an balanced world in which we live and grow in harmony with the environment and find respite in nature, and an economy built through profitable and socially responsible business.  A world in which we all grow.
